I have a need to create something lasting.

 

I got a job where i get to help people, and it feels meaningful, but then I have a need to create something firm and lasting. Whether it's music, in wood, concrete, with words, or with skulls on canvas.

 

​In the past i had an outlet for creating in a rock band, lyrics and drawing, but then you apparently grew up and were busy with four kids, house and a dog, and the art was put to the side.

 

A change in life in 2020 did that I got the time and need to create something again. I started painting with acrylic on canvas.

 

I am happy with life, but am also fascinated by the dark and gloomy. Contrasts. Have always drawn skulls, must have skull. So I try to mix the dark with the light, using strong colors, birds, flowers, bumblebees or other nice things. After all, life is mostly beautiful!

 

Hope you like some of what you see. It has been a lot of fun to make anyway!
